 Equine Affaire, the premier equine exposition and equestrian gathering in North America hosted at the Eastern States Exposition in W. Springfield, MA, on November 7th through the 10th. Forming the cornerstone of this 48th Equine Affaire is a program of clinics, seminars, and demonstrations with something to offer for horse enthusiasts of all ages and disciplines.

DAILY ACTIVITIES:

The largest horse-related trade show in the East featuring hundreds of the industry’s leading retailers and manufacturers of horse-related products covering acres of exhibit space.

An unparalleled schedule of clinics on a wide variety of equestrian sports presented by nationally- and internationally-recognized horse trainers, competitors, and coaches. Sessions will be conducted in the coliseum and arenas in the Mallary Complex and Young Building.

A nonstop program of seminars and hands-on demonstrations on all aspects of horse management and training by equine industry experts at the Nutrena seminar stage in the Better Living Center and the demo ring in the Mallary North.

An impressive Breed Pavilion showcasing dozens of horse breeds from North and South America, Europe and beyond in the Stroh Building . . . plus a great array of horse, horse farm, stallions, and facility exhibits in the Horse & Farm Exhibits in C Barn.

The Fantasia, Equine Affaire’s signature musical celebration of the horse at 8:00pm on Thursday, Friday & Saturday in the coliseum. This unforgettable equine musical revue will cover the gamut from dramatic to comedic and feature horses of many breeds and disciplines performing to a wide variety of musical styles.

The Versatile Horse & Rider Competition on Thursday morning and Friday afernoon in the coliseum. In this fast-paced, crowd-pleaser, 30 horse and rider teams will race through a challenging obstacle course while being judged on their horsemanship. Teams will compete for $5,500 in cash and the title of 2013 Versatile Horse & Rider Champion.

A Youth Pavilion in the Mallary South featuring activities and presentations to educate and entertain young horse enthusiasts.
